Which woman do i marry ? wife material

MY FATHER'S ADVICE TO ME WHEN I WAS SEARCHING FOR A WIFE

By Jerry John Rawlings (Former Ghana President)
My son, I will be very raw and sincere with you.
Do not worry about the size of a woman buttock or breast but worry about the size of her heart and brain. Worry about the size of her love and endurance. Because after 5 or 10 years, it will not be about the breast or buttock.
As you can see, your mum now has a flat chest and almost flat buttock but we still live together happily, I still love her and she still love me.
Be careful of a woman that loves money. I mean the woman that talks ‘every time’ about her hair, cloths, shoes, bags panties and make-ups. Marriage is not all about these things. Without make-up, cloths, shoes and panties a good marriage will still stand but without love, no marriage can stand.
When I got married to your mum, I didn’t have a car or house of my own. I was not even
educated. But I had dreams and she appreciate and support me. Any woman that does not support your dream is not worth thinking-a- minute about. There are women that will see your dreams better than you, you are lucky if you find one.
My son, open your ears very well, there is a kind of woman you should avoid, do not make a mistake to marry this kind of woman or you will regret it. I mean a woman that always has bad things to say about everyone. If you see this kind of woman, run away.
One of the worst kind of woman you can marry is the one that complains about everything. If you buy this, she says you should have bought that, if you do this, she said you should have done that. Please stay away!
Most women enjoy talking but the one who talks for two hours and listen for two minutes is a potential ‘bomb’. Be wise
Be very careful of a pretending partner. A
pretending woman is not hard to know. She will always know everything about everything, she will be careful. Just close your eyes and open your heart and you will see!
No woman is perfect. If you see a woman who
believes in your dream , who respects you who is committed and who is not all about herself alone then don’t let her go.
But remember, you must not be a wayward man. I have trained you!
If you find a good woman but you are a bad man, you wont have a good marriage!
I won’t pick a wife for you but I have given you
my advice. When you find her, bring her for my
blessings.
May you find a woman that will increase you not decrease you..

When I Became a Wife

What pieces of advice would you give a bride-to-be?
The Excellent Marriage Advice I Was Given When I Became a Wife
I recently reread some advice that I was given shortly before my husband and I got married. At my wedding shower, several ladies who had been married anywhere from a couple of years to over 20 years gave me note cards on which they had documented marriage advice.

I thought the advice was great then, but I have an even greater appreciation for it now that I’ve been married for some time. Though none of these women were “marriage experts,” they gave really sound advice! Whether you’re about to get married or you’ve been married for decades, I hope you are inspired by these snippets of insight.

GREAT MARRIAGE ADVICE
“The most important thing you can do for your husband is to pray for him every day. You will be amazed how much can be resolved in prayer without having to say a word to your spouse.”
Be the first to end a quarrel with an apology—a real apology.”
“Don’t forget to have girlfriends. Your husband cannot play that role.”
“Laugh, laugh, laugh! Seriously, at the end of the day, a lot of fights can be avoided by choosing to assume the best of each other.”
“Let him love you. No matter how big or small of a gesture, be appreciative of the love he is trying to show you.”
“A good wife forgives her husband; a great wife forgives before he asks for it. A good wife gives her husband what she knows he needs; a great wife gives him what he thinks he needs. A good wife has sex with her husband; a great wife initiates sex on her own.”
“Assume you are/have the problem (not that your husband is/has the problem). Consider that we are to die to ourselves.”
“Let yourself laugh. You can always discuss things more seriously later, but it’s hard to go back and laugh if you initially overreact with negative emotion.”
“Once the wedding is over, the question ‘Did I marry the right person?’ isn’t relevant anymore.”
“Don’t follow your heart. Lead your heart to love him.”
Based on my experience, there are a few additional pieces of advice that are essential:
·        Pray together daily.
·        Don’t complain about your husband to friends or family members. Bless him and maintain your respect for him by speaking highly of him instead.
·        Communicate your needs and expectations clearly because your husband can’t read your mind.
·        Continue to go on dates.
·        No matter how busy you get, take time every day to look your husband in the eye, say “I love you,” and reconnect for a moment.

WHY FEMINISM?by James Gikonyo (Guest Writer )

WHY FEMINISM?by James Gikonyo (Guest Writer )

It is the21st Century in most societies, women are being empowered greatly-no

man has stood up against that. The Gender Agenda is something that men have

supported in this struggle for equality; infact, some of these programmes would

not be running if men did not come in. Do not get me wrong, women alone can do

something but ain’t the battle of the sexes causing more harm than good? I for

one am a conservative feminist; I understand what women go through-not

because I have never been one but simply because everywhere I turn, there is a

woman next to me. Shall we start with my own mother, two sisters, cousins,

neighbours, girlfriend ad even colleagues? How does male chauvinism make them

feel? That of a stereotyped society that feels that some rights should not be given

to women. Why not give women education? Why strip them because they wear

what they feel comfortable in? Why not look for a wife? Why not share domestic

roles? In fact I find it inhuman how men reason that a real man should NOT argue

with a woman. This is a barbaric culture! Don’t women have same brains as us?

This is why feminism is there; simply because men are using patriarchal nature to

discriminate and decrease the worth of their fellow sisters. I find it very

revulsing, utterly foolish and awkwardly backward. As much as equality is

subjective, men and women should enjoy equal privileges. This does not also mean

these extriminists under the umbrella of feminism treat men like world animals.

Though I think fairness is more important than weighing the balance on rights. I

pray one day women will feel not only proud of their identity but free of the bonds

of discrimination. No doctrine ever said women SHOULD NOT RULE. Just a

thought. My regards
