God fight for My marriage and Many others ....Gloryfy yourself in our families

10 Verses and Scriptures to Pray for Your Marriage

1. Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Lord, make us strong for you.)

2. Proverbs 24:3-4 “By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.” (Lord, may our homes be built on your wisdom.)

3. Psalm 1:1-3 “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.” (Lord, may our delight be in you, may we meditate on your law day and night. When we do so, our marriage and our family will be like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields fruit in its season and whose leaf does not wither.)

4. Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” (Lord, create in both of us a pure heart, seeking you first in all things.)

5. Song of Solomon 4:10 “How delightful is your love, my sister, my bride! How much more pleasing is your love than wine, and the fragrance of your perfume more than any spice!” (May we delight in our love for one another.)

6. Isaiah 62:5 “As a young man marries a young woman, so will your Builder marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you.” (May we rejoice over one another and in turn, rest in the knowledge that you, God, rejoice over us as your children.)

7. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8  “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.“ (Lord, give us your kind of love for our spouse and for our families. Grow us in patience, kindness, honor, service, and may we never keep a record of wrongs. May our love never fail because it is your love in us.)

8. Ephesians 5:21-33 “Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— for we are members of his body. 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.' This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.” (Lord, may we joyfully submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. May we love like Jesus.)

9. Philippians 2:3-7 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.” (Lord, help us to not do anything out of selfish ambition. Give us humble hearts toward one another, not looking to our own interests, but to the interests of our spouse. Give us the mind of Christ.)

10. Colossians 1:13-14 “For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” (Lord, may we never forget that you rescued us from the dominion of darkness. May we show that same forgiveness to our spouse!)

Men Men Men!!!!. Do not kill!!!!

 Men Men Men!!!!.

Dear fellow men,we have already fallen the men fraternity.
I do not see the extent to which killing became equal to justice. When you kill a person,it is the mind that cheats you because you wrongly use it to reason out your things. I think it is wise to involve your partner's friends (precisely one friend, the closest) and discuss anything about your partner, outline your grievances and send them to him/her through your mediator, that is if it is beyond what you can talk alone and solve. Killing only satisfies for a period of 1 week. After a week, guilt starts consuming you and the same mind that gave you the simple formulae to kill betrays you by giving you over 1000 reasons why you wouldn't have done it. You kill a child of a man and a woman and scar them the rest of their lives, some are elderly. Do not kill your partner because of misunderstandings or simple marital or relationship differences,do not throw words,do not even fight your partner. Fellow Men please lets tame our ego and our chauvinism and end cold blooding. We have killed so many daughters of other parents and have caused problems,to their entire families. KILLING IS NO EQUAL TO JUSTICE. There are infact many women than men in Kenya. No problems lasts forever, nothing is ever perfect in this life. Men please do not invest your monies to wrong ladies, try as well as possible to chose a lady that will cultivate love and respect. If any man has a lady besides a wife and has not married her, please that is murder in the making. No one can convince me that it shall end well. Let us be vigilant and save them, let's live with them in peace. Lets give their parents dowries in peace and treat them well. Ladies, respect and responsibility is all a man requires. Do not kill!!!

Respect in Marriage

how to show respect to my husband, how to respect a man, how to respect a wife

Respect,  a couple that respects each other goes a long way.

Respect is consulting your partner, respect is keeping no secrets, respect is staying faithful, respect is keeping your word, respect is never talking ill of your partner with others, Respect is communicating with your partner efficiently,  Respect is protecting your spouse even from your own folks.

Before doing something, ask yourself....is this act respectful to my spouse. That text you want send to your colleague,  is it respectful to your spouse?

That money you want to secretly send to your folks, is it being respectful to your spouse?

Submission in Marriage

 Submission.

women, why should women submit, is submission important in marriage? is submission a punishment?

People have a very skewed view of what submission is, especially when applied to the woman in a marriage.

Submission is a state of mind, an attitude of respect and a recognition of a pattern of authority.

Submission is the natural response to genuine sacrificial love, which can  be experieced by any woman who has a husband.

Submission is not a licence to oppress, it is a call to love without boundaries.

When I Became a Wife

What pieces of advice would you give a bride-to-be?
The Excellent Marriage Advice I Was Given When I Became a Wife
I recently reread some advice that I was given shortly before my husband and I got married. At my wedding shower, several ladies who had been married anywhere from a couple of years to over 20 years gave me note cards on which they had documented marriage advice.

I thought the advice was great then, but I have an even greater appreciation for it now that I’ve been married for some time. Though none of these women were “marriage experts,” they gave really sound advice! Whether you’re about to get married or you’ve been married for decades, I hope you are inspired by these snippets of insight.

GREAT MARRIAGE ADVICE
“The most important thing you can do for your husband is to pray for him every day. You will be amazed how much can be resolved in prayer without having to say a word to your spouse.”
“Be the first to end a quarrel with an apology—a real apology.”
“Don’t forget to have girlfriends. Your husband cannot play that role.”
“Laugh, laugh, laugh! Seriously, at the end of the day, a lot of fights can be avoided by choosing to assume the best of each other.”
“Let him love you. No matter how big or small of a gesture, be appreciative of the love he is trying to show you.”
“A good wife forgives her husband; a great wife forgives before he asks for it. A good wife gives her husband what she knows he needs; a great wife gives him what he thinks he needs. A good wife has sex with her husband; a great wife initiates sex on her own.”
“Assume you are/have the problem (not that your husband is/has the problem). Consider that we are to die to ourselves.”
“Let yourself laugh. You can always discuss things more seriously later, but it’s hard to go back and laugh if you initially overreact with negative emotion.”
“Once the wedding is over, the question ‘Did I marry the right person?’ isn’t relevant anymore.”
“Don’t follow your heart. Lead your heart to love him.”
Based on my experience, there are a few additional pieces of advice that are essential:
·        Pray together daily.
·        Don’t complain about your husband to friends or family members. Bless him and maintain your respect for him by speaking highly of him instead.
·        Communicate your needs and expectations clearly because your husband can’t read your mind.
·        Continue to go on dates.
·        No matter how busy you get, take time every day to look your husband in the eye, say “I love you,” and reconnect for a moment.
What pieces of advice would you give a bride-to-be?

WHO DO I TELL

       WHO DO I TELL
Who do I tell what I feel when I see your picture
Whom will I give responses when I read your messages
Who do I tell that my lips tremble in desire when you send me an emoji
Who do I tell that my legs become weak when I see you from a distance
Who will listen when I say  my voice disappears  in to my heart  when I hear your voice
Whom will I buy the nice gifts and clothes that I see
Who will listen when I say that my heart skips a bit when you call me
Who do I tell what happens to my body when you say u want me
Who will listen to me when I say I want us to talk more
Who will give me a rose like the one I am holding
Who do I tell that I miss you even when you are few kilometers away from Nairobi
Who will listen when I say I want a hug out of your well built body and smooth biceps
Who do I tell that I have been watching you in secret
Who do I tell this and more that are in my mind and my heart
Whom do I send this message
