Women viva !

"The first duty of a woman, any woman, is to get a husband. This is the first qualification of a woman. If she fails to get a husband, she has failed her first examination and she is not worthy to represent anybody (in parliament)..." Eliud Ngala Mwendwa, Kenya's Minister for Labour  making his contribution in 1966 during a parliamentary debate that called for women to be given special means to enter parliament.

If I was around I would have asked this man some questions This is soo bad .... you have daughters is this the standard you want people to use to judge them. Is this what you want for your sisters, nieces and other women around you?

Women are leaders, great leaders in themselves.

Gathenya James Munyori Leadership and marriage are different institutions.

A marriage is a blessing from God , it’s a gift to men and women and men and should not be used to Judge anyone.

Women married or not deserve to be in positions of power in Paliament and outside because they are human being and above all they are children of God.

Viva women viva! Viva men Viva!

BEST SLEEPING HABITS FOR MARRIED COUPLES

BEST SLEEPING HABITS FOR MARRIED COUPLES:

1. Wear something easy to remove, comfortable and sexy. Make the work of your partner easy to peel off your clothes to reveal the naked you. Yummy lingerie, loose boxer. Sleep naked for best results

4. Minimize the use of phones or laptops. Your partner needs attention, the bedroom is sacred

5. Move the baby to a separate room (if your finances allow you to and you have a home of more than one bedroom) when the baby is of age. The child might have been conceived in the bedroom but is not meant to live in your bedroom that is an exclusive island for two

9. Apologize and forgive if any wrong was done during the day. Don't sleep with a grudge or anger

Trojan Horse

 BEWARE OF THE TROJAN HORSE!

Ever had of the saying, “Beware of Greeks bearing gifts?”

It was the tenth year and the war against the Greeks by the Trojans who lived in Troy, was still raging on. In that year, Odysseus deviced a way of ending the war once and for all.

Troy was fortified, and it had to take a great scheme to pull down it’s walls and destroy it’s fighters. So the Greeks, led by Odysseus, built a dummy gigantic wooden horse and left it on its wheels outside the gates of the city of Troy.

He wanted to deceive the Trojans and make them believe that the Greeks had lost their nerves, surrendered, and had returned back to Greece. When dawn broke, the Trojans were surprised that they were not surrounded by the Greek army, only a wooden horse.

They indeed believed that the Greeks had gone and had left this horse as a gift to their gods.

They wheeled the wooden horse into their city and started revelry to celebrate the end of the war. However, unknown to the Trojans, the horse was hollow, and it hid few Greek warriors, Odysseus included.

The horse was in the gates, the City of Troy was already compromised. Now that they were inside, Odysseus and his men went out of the dummy horse and annihilated the unsuspecting guards.

Then they opened the city gates and allowed the entire Greek army, who were hiding some miles away, to enter the city. The Trojans were taken by surprise.

They were unprepared for war. They were unarmed, unaware, totally caught off guard. Their army was destroyed, the City was taken captive and all the Trojans were slain.

Beware of the Trojan Horse.

The Trojan horse was the downfall of the City of Troy.

Beware of the “gifts” the enemy carries. They are not gifts, but Kryptonites, ready to detonate you as soon as you let your guards down.

See, no one is immune to SEXUAL immorality, no one. The Bible says, take heed, let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. [1 Corinthians 10:12]

We wage war everyday against our flesh and it’s not easy. You may think you are fortified, but just like Odysseus to the Trojans, the devil has schemes and plans, read to blow up the temple of the Holy Spirit- You!

He’s cunning and sin is deceitful. For one man, it has an arrow, for another, a dart, and for another a spear. Do not underestimate the devil, but do not overestimate him too _he’s already defeated.

That said, we shouldn’t be too casual to think that we are immune. The Bible says that we should stand firm, putting on the full armour of the Lord. Stand firm, gird your loins, be strong and vigilant. Be of good courage.

Listen, the Bible say in 1st Corinthians 10:13, that there’s no, temptation regardless of its source, that has overtaken or enticed us, that is not common to human experience, nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance.

God is faithful, to His word—He is compassionate and trustworthy, and He will not let us be tempted beyond our ability to resist. Along with the temptation He has in the past and now, provides the WAY OUT as well, so that we will be able to endure it without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy.

What is the Trojan Horse you are wheeling into your life? What is the Trojan Horse you are allowing into your bulwark?

The gift is not real!

There’s a WAY OUT that the Lord has provided in the mess around you! There’s a WAY OUT, of what the devil cheaply pawns as “good and satisfying.”

Way out, cut that conversation down.

Way out, cut that relationship, however hard, let it go. Way out, uproot the little seedlings of pornography, by literally walking away from that laptop or TV.

Way out, unplug from social media till you reset back. Way out, change what you watch or listen to or read.

The battle of sexual purity, not only needs prayers, but a physical engagement with your self.

Way out, be accountable to someone who will not sooth you into sinning, nor stifle your growth.

Way out, learn the discipline of saying NO!

Way out, go for deliverance from soul ties and past relationships that you could be still dragging over in your heart.

God knows that all the SEX around hasn’t helped us to become better drivers or conversationalists. Our deepest needs remain untouched, and by far, unknown. Emojis have become a way of life. Winky face. Laughing until I am crying.

What I am saying? Am shouting this loud. The WORD OF THE LORD is Life. The Bible says that He has given us everything, to be able to live a godly life. Life or death, the choice is ours. Choose life. Choose to live out loud for Christ. Choose to live radically, countercultural for Christ.

Beware of the Trojan Horses around! Do not pull them in!

Star of Gods Love

And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul.”

1 Samuel 27:1

The thought of David’s heart at this time was a false thought, because he certainly had no ground for thinking that God’s anointing him by Samuel was intended to be left as an empty unmeaning act. On no one occasion had the Lord deserted his servant; he had been placed in perilous positions very often, but not one instance had occurred in which divine interposition had not delivered him. The trials to which he had been exposed had been varied; they had not assumed one form only, but many—yet in every case he who sent the trial had also graciously ordained a way of escape. David could not put his finger upon any entry in his diary, and say of it, “Here is evidence that the Lord will forsake me,” for the entire tenor of his past life proved the very reverse. He should have argued from what God had done for him, that God would be his defender still. But is it not just in the same way that we doubt God’s help? Is it not mistrust without a cause? Have we ever had the shadow of a reason to doubt our Father’s goodness? Have not his lovingkindnesses been marvellous? Has he once failed to justify our trust? Ah, no! our God has not left us at any time. We have had dark nights, but the star of love has shone forth amid the blackness; we have been in stern conflicts, but over our head he has held aloft the shield of our defence. We have gone through many trials, but never to our detriment, always to our advantage; and the conclusion from our past experience is, that he who has been with us in six troubles, will not forsake us in the seventh. What we have known of our faithful God, proves that he will keep us to the end. Let us not, then, reason contrary to evidence. How can we ever be so ungenerous as to doubt our God? Lord, throw down the Jezebel of our unbelief, and let the dogs devour it.

Choose Hope

 Praise God.

Hebrews 6:19

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.

Hope in Desperation.

In times of desperation,we have two choices.we crumble and lose sight of all hope, which, in itself, is a devastating choice. Or,we can choose faith in God like Shadrach, Meshach and Abed'nego in Daniel 3:16-18...It doesn't matter how desperate our situation is,we can still choose to believe that God has our best interests at heart.

Walking by faith is a choice.its not always the easiest choice though. It May mean leaving your comfort zone, but it always gives God the Opportunity to strengthen you.

No matter what you come up against, it is hope that feeds your faith.

Let us make the choice to put our hope in God.

Have a Blessed Day.

Power of Politics

*ELEVEN PRINCIPLES YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND ABOUT POLITICS BEFORE YOU STRESS YOURSELF:*

1. Nobody has your interests.

2. Everybody is chasing their own interests.

3. Dealing with politicians is like sleeping with tigers; you must always have your eyes wide open.

4. In any Political equation, there’s always someone being used. If you can’t find one then it is you.

5. Serving Politicians is like being a bandage on a wound. Once the wound is healed your usefulness ends. Politicians don’t recognize and reward value they recognize their own needs and you are only as useful as the lifespan of their need for you.

6. In Politics never mourn or wail more than the bereaved. They will get the reward while you inherit their enemies.

7. In Politics, in any event that other interests conflict with your own interests and you have to choose, always choose yours.

8. Never cross oceans for Politicians; you will drown and the best they will do is give a benevolent speech at your burial, lie to your widow and children and eat your food. Politicians will never cross the streets for their foot soldiers.

9. Don’t kill yourself for their ambition or put your life at risk for any politician.

10. Above all, Family and Health are things you should never use to attack a man. Politics is never that serious.

11. Lastly to all the Youths, it’s too risky to sacrifice your Career, Health, Personal Character, Social capital, and integrity in pursuit of short term and temporary rewards, offered by Politicians.

Now you know. Let's love one another and put aside emotions and feelings. I can tell you what you are shouting about today at the top of your voice,a few years to come will not make sense and you will see that you really wasted your energy and time.

15.and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.

Thankfulness.

What can you thank God for right now?

From the gift of life, breath in my lungs to the loof over my head and to every mercy I receive today. The attention you pay to me every day, in every circumstance ,I thank you Lord.

Count your blessings name it one by one and give thanks to God.He wants us to show our devotion to Him by faithfully keeping the  promises we make.what vow and promise did you make when you asked God to help, guide and to intervene in your life? Have you fulfilled? God is waiting for you to fulfill and He is Promising he will deliver you from Trouble and show His salvation (50:15,23).

Be faithful in fulfilling your Promise to God today.

Rest: God is in control

Known to the unknown

Moving forward.

Acts 12:7‭-‬8 NKJV

Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands. Then the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and tie on your sandals”; and so he did. And he said to him, “Put on your garment and follow me.”

Herod is out on a rampage to persecute the believers. He has just put to death James the brother of John with the sword and now he has put Peter in chains in prison under heavy guard.

But the bible says that constant prayer was being offered to God by the believers for Peter.

Sometimes in life we feel like we are in prison and we are chained. It feels like everything we desire to do is met with opposition and we just can't seem to move forward. What then do you do?

I love the fact that though Peter was chained between two soldiers and with another soldier standing guard at the door, he still had the peace to sleep. Reminds me of Jesus sleeping in a boat in the midst of a storm. In the times when it feels like you are stuck and can't move forward, do not panic or worry, instead find the peace of God and rest in it.

It is only when you rest in his peace that you will be able to move from the known into the unknown just like Peter did. In fact Peter was so at peace and in heavy sleep that the angel sent to rescue him had to strike him on the side to wake him up. Peter was actually broken out of prison by an angel, now that's the unknown, that's different, that's the impossible made possible by putting faith in God.

It was such an impossibility that when he went to the believers who were at that time in prayer for him, they did not believe that he was the one at the door.

This one thing I know, sometimes God will allow us to get stuck so that he can come through to show himself strong on our behalf. As he takes us through that journey, we must be willing to let go of what we know in order to trust him withe what we do not know.

Reflective Thoughts.

When you seem to be stuck, do you let worry control you or ate you confident to rest in the peace of God because you know he has got you covered?

----------------------------------------------------------------

What is the known the comfort zone that you ate afraid to let go of?

----------------------------------------------------------------

Why are you afraid to let go, is it that you don't truly trust God or you don't believe that he is able?

When God seems silent

 When God seems silent

Esther 4:16 NKJV

16 “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in [a]Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!”

We have all been there, in situations where it seems like God is silent and sometimes we even think he has forsaken us. It seems like everything around us is getting from bad to worse and God is not interested to do anything about it, at least that how we seem to see the situation. We get to a place where we are so discouraged that we don’t even want to pray, we simply want to just give up.

Think of Esther in captivity, having gone through a lot she is now finally the queen and no sooner than it seems like there is a light at the end of the tunnel, a darker cloud seems to be cast over her and her people because now they are facing the possibility of total annihilation. It is at this point that Esther calls for a three day fast.

One of the things that fasting does is that it brings clarity. Fasting helps us disconnect from all manner of distractions and as we deny the flesh then we give the spirit an opportunity to get clarity. Fasting does not arm twist God into doing what we want; rather it helps us to gain some clarity and understanding of where God is leading or what he is saying.

At times we think that God is silent but in reality we are just distracted because of so many things that are clamouring for our attention and when we take some time off to focus on prayer as we deny the flesh then we are able to tune in to the heavenly frequency again to hear what God is saying to us. Fasting and prayer helps us demonstrate a hunger for God and it helps us get to that place where we can spend quality time with God to really express what we are going through.

Through prayer and fasting, God was able to give Queen Esther wisdom that saved the lives of her people. Though they were in captivity, God was not silent after all.

Are you in a season where God seems silent? Maybe you have a poor connection, try enhancing it through prayer and fasting, see if you get a better reception.

Reflective Thoughts

Does God seem silent or have you ever gone through a season where it felt that way? How did you feel as you went through that season?

How did you handle the situation / season and what are some of the major lessons you learned?

God promised to never leave us nor forsake us; do you actually believe that He meant what He said?

who is our life ?

 “Christ, who is our life.”

Colossians 3:4

Paul’s marvellously rich expression indicates, that Christ is the source of our life. “You hath he quickened who were dead in trespasses and sins.” That same voice which brought Lazarus out of the tomb raised us to newness of life. He is now the substance of our spiritual life. It is by his life that we live; he is in us, the hope of glory, the spring of our actions, the central thought which moves every other thought. Christ is the sustenance of our life. What can the Christian feed upon but Jesus’ flesh and blood? “This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.” O wayworn pilgrims in this wilderness of sin, you never get a morsel to satisfy the hunger of your spirits, except ye find it in him! Christ is the solace of our life. All our true joys come from him; and in times of trouble, his presence is our consolation. There is nothing worth living for but him; and his lovingkindness is better than life! Christ is the object of our life. As speeds the ship towards the port, so hastes the believer towards the haven of his Saviour’s bosom. As flies the arrow to its goal, so flies the Christian towards the perfecting of his fellowship with Christ Jesus. As the soldier fights for his captain, and is crowned in his captain’s victory, so the believer contends for Christ, and gets his triumph out of the triumphs of his Master. “For him to live is Christ.” Christ is the exemplar of our life. Where there is the same life within, there will, there must be, to a great extent, the same developments without; and if we live in near fellowship with the Lord Jesus we shall grow like him. We shall set him before us as our Divine copy, and we shall seek to tread in his footsteps, until he shall become the crown of our life in glory. Oh! how safe, how honoured, how happy is the Christian, since Christ is our life!
