2 KINGS 13:20-21
20 Elisha died and was buried.
Now Moabite raiders used to enter the country every spring. 21 Once while some Israelites were burying a man, suddenly they saw a band of raiders; so they threw the man’s body into Elisha’s tomb. When the body touched Elisha’s bones, the man came to life and stood up on his feet.
SCRIPT OBSERVATIONS
- King Jehoahaz was the king of Israel
Verse 20 - The man had no name.
- Mobites raiders come every spring time because thanks when there is harvest to steal.
- The people who were carrying him dropped him onto Elisha's tomb and ran for his life.
- When you have a divine appointment no enemy can kill your destiny.
SERMON LESSONS
1). THE ENEMIES ATTACK IS ALWAYS ON SCHEDULE.
VERSE 20
- The raiders always attack every spring was their specific time.
- Your harvest is on the way and the attack of the enemy is on the way too. We will have attacks in life and the enemy plans for them.
- The enemy attacks our lives, our jobs, our relationships, etc because you have a harvest.
- The enemy wants to attack your progress ie your harvest not you. The enemy wants to your peace, your joy, etc.
2). BE CAREFUL WHO YOU ALLOW TO CARRY YOU.
VERSE 21
- Some of us are asking and begging people to come in our lives who God never assigned to carry us.
- The sooner you realize that they are not assigned to carry you, the happier one will be.
- If the people did not drop the dead man, he could not have touched the Elisha's tomb and his bones this the man could not have come alive and stood on his feet again.
- Be careful not to punish someone in your present because someone punished you in the past.
3). GOD HAS A PLAN TO REVIVE YOU.
VERS 21
- The people did not keep their promise to bury the man but God has a plan to revive the man.
- If God has not written your eulogy then he has a plan to revive you.
- As soon as the the body got in touch with the Elisha's God revives it. God will revive us once the right person gets in touch with us.
- Could it be may be your situation is not changing because the people you are involving yourself, the people you are touching, etc are not the right people?
- Could it be the person you are getting involved with romantically ( in preparation) for marriage is the wrong one no wonder your relationship is not moving on?
4) LEAVE THE PLACE THAT IS MAKING YOU STINK.
- A tomb smells and is dark.
- Be careful whom you touch.
- Leave the relationship that is making you to stink.
- You cannot become what God wants you to be if you remain in the grave even when God is not in it.
- Leave the attitude or perspective that is ungodly.
- When God heals you, one requires to move to another level of obedience, you cannot remain the same. You cannot remain in the grave, you have to learn on how to leave a dead relationship.
- You got to learn how to grief and leave a dead relationship. You cannot keep hanging around dead things and expect to experience God's move.
- We serve a God who does the unexpectable. Nobody knew about this nameless man but he was revived and stood up on his feet.
- DO NOT LOOSE HOPE!
- JUST BECAUSE IT IS NOT MOVING, IT DOES NOT MEAN IT IS DEAD.
- BUT IF GOD TELLS YOU IT IS DEAD, IT IS TIME TO MOVE.

- YOU CAN BE IN THE GRAVEYARD, BUT STILL EXPERIENCE REVIVAL!
